How to Unite & Get Working
First of all, I must say -- I think the whiners and the quitters are both babies. The rest caught in the middle are dumbfounded. Now that I've offended a most of us maybe no one will listen to the rest of what I have to say. -- Please humor me a moment -- We're all in the trenches here, we have a major job to do & the reality is if we don't find a way to get past our differences & stand UNITED on the principles of Freedom established by our Founders -- then EVIL & CORRUPTION WINS!
That being said, if we realize -- at least those of us who are aware there is a problem w/ government & the people in power -- realize how ignorant MOST of us, if not ALL of us really are.... yes WE who are mildly awake are IGNORANT (& this includes myself!!!!!!) so How & why do I say this?
The founders had a frame of reference that we (99.9% of us) in the "Restore America" Movement ( Tea Parties / 912 Project / Constitutional Conservatives et al) simply DO NOT HAVE. Consider the founders frame of reference was vital to give them the knowledge base necessary to make a Constitution (w/ Divine help no less) They knew so much more than we do - it boggles my mind to realize these men had a deeper knowledge & dignity about them - even when they were angry with each other they could argue with decorum. Heck we can't even disagree in an email! then we storm off & quit!
My point is, when freedom was discussed at the Constitutional Convention these great men spent FOUR SOLID DAYS (10-12 hours each) discussing the principles of Freedom -- just on that ONE element! If we met to do the same, maybe we could hold on to that discussion for possibly one afternoon at most! We've got to get MORE HUMBLE here folks -- the crisis is growing -- but if we don't get it together, its going to have to get a lot worse before we wake up & are COMPELLED TO become UNITED.
OK -- as to why I say this and what we've got to do about it..... I was going to direct you off to research this, and I hope the system here will allow what I'm now going to quote:

Let's please get over ourselves, get humble, get studying, get united & get to work!
As a new member
First let me introduce myself. My name is John Woods I am married to a wonderful woman Elaine and at some time in the near future we ar going to move to Oregon. Our Son in Law, Daughter and Grandkids live in Cedar Mills. We are so glad to hear that there are like minded people in Oregon.We are NY 9/12 state leaders, and we are co-leaders in a 9/12 group of about 925 people.
To your point though about Ignorance and being mildly awake, I sometimes feel like I woke up in the Matrix, the stuff you learn and see sometimes makes you wish that you don't know what is really happening behind the scenes. In NY we are in a full fledged war of ideas, some of our group worked on Doug Hoffman campaign and some of our group are working on Scott Browns campaign. We were in DC on 9/12/2009 when the paltry 70,00 people showed up, capital police off the record said 1.5 million though. Good to see there are patriots in Oregon also.
There's a Storm Coming
Welcome -- we look forward to having you here in Oregon -- you will be a great asset to our 9/12 community here. (there are probably close to 2,000 people involved in just 9/12 statewide! more with TeaParty and AFP to name a few like minded groups.)
Yes there is a MIGHTY storm a coming -- I realized after some time passed that I probably babbled on and missed one key point. Even with the coming storm, if we get ourselves focused, build on the knowledge we need -- then with that knowledge we will not be able to 'cower in the basement' but realize that we have just as much at stake as the founders did. We'll have the courage to stand up and hold to the truth. Our founders did no less -- they risked public execution by hanging and being quartered for being 'traitors' to the King.
The trouble is, most of us have been conditioned through the media and our conveyorbelt progressive educations that we shouldn't "offend" anyone. So we tend to keep our mouth shut. I'm not suggesting we act without proper manners. But we must not sit idly by any longer.
However, it is time we stand up and have backbones! A great piece to read is CS Lewis "Abolition of Man" as a place to start.
We have a society where we are just "Men Without Chests". Its a great place to start on the journey of getting ourselves 'educated' like the founders were! What is the Price of standing up for Freedom? Sacrifice. Keep up the good fight -- and let us know when you're in town!
