It’s Your Future

(Choose to do something about it)

All over America people are waking up, Too find that while they slept our elected officials have been planning the political over throw of our government and our way of life.

The promise to fundamentally change America was made, with no explanation of what that change was.

A majority of voters accepted this promise with out knowing, or even asking what that change was! Well, now it’s becoming frighteningly apparent, just what that planed Fundamental change was.

Patrick Henry said; (Give me liberty or Give me death), He didn’t make this Statement lightly nor was it taken lightly by the assembled founding fathers. As they faced an uncertain future of fighting, what then was the most powerful country in there world, each one of them knew exactly what the cost of liberty could be.

That is why we were given our Constitution, A tool that could be used

To protect and secure Liberty, For all unknown future generations.

Our Constitution was not casually thrown to gather, it was crafted so that future generations could have the promise of liberty and freedom that our founding fathers fought so courageously for.

We are that unknown generation, And Thanks to the sacrifices of these men, that promised, and then sacrificed everything. We have the tools to continue the fight for liberty and Freedom.

Our Constitution that Divinely inspired document.

Unlike our founding fathers we are not asked to sacrifice our lives,

We are only asked to Donate our Time, What a small thing to ask for such a great reward.

All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of Good conscience to remain silent.

(Thomas Jefferson)

We are the No longer silent Majority

Unions like SEIU are Obama's Brown Shirts.

With the announcement that Obama has bought union support of his health care coup de etat, conservative pundits were quick to attack the flagrant corruption of the deal. While employees not affiliated with a union will pay a 40% tax on their "Cadillac" health insurance premiums, union workers with even more lavish health plans will be exempt from the tax. Of two workers with the same job, same pay, same health insurance, the non-union employee will pay thousands more each year to support Obamacare while the union employee pays nothing. This is so obviously unfair that even Republicans recognize the injustice. Under the deal union employees will get this break for only five years, unless of course they can bribe their representatives to extend it. In short, non-union workers will be forced to pay for the elite health care packages of union workers, in all probability forever.

Except that no one seems to have noticed the really insidious and tyrannical implications of this deal. If you are a non-union worker and you suddenly find yourself forced to pay several thousand dollars in additional taxes each year to support the health care of everyone else, what do you do? Simple! You form or join a union! The real purpose of Obama's union bribe is not to create a financial break for the unions. It is to force every worker in America to join a union. This will mean that every working American will be forced to pay dues into those unions, dues that will be used to fund a leftist political agenda most of those newly unionized workers oppose. In other words, once Obamacare has been passed SEIU will represent you. At that point, there will be no one left to defend American values, the free market, individual liberties and the Constitution. We will all have been conscripted into the private army of the President and his jack booted allies in big labor, and we will come to know the real meaning of the term "proletariat!"

Of course if your union does not honestly represent your interests or your political beliefs you can object. Present your complaint to your union representative! Maybe he won't demand that you be fired so that you lose both your means of support and your union exemption! Maybe he won't mention your insubordination to the Obama appointed health care advisory panel empowered to decide whether or not you get that expensive operation you need! Maybe it won't affect whether or not your daughter receives that scholarship she was hoping for, or your son gets the promotion he was counting on! Or maybe you had better just keep quiet!

This has been Obama's real health care purpose from the beginning, to coerce every man, woman and child into abject dependency upon government. Unions like SEIU are Obama's Brown Shirts. You are, if all goes according to plan, his slaves!

From a TeaParty-er and former 25-year member of SEIU

As a teacher of violent, career criminals in five California state prisons, I was a civil service employee for 25 years.  One condition of my employment required that I either join the union representing me in collective bargaining and contract administration matters, or that I pay an "agency fee" for such representation which was only $3 less per month than union dues.  The California State Employees Association, an independent employee union, became Local 1000 of the Service Employees International Union (ISEIU) several years after I began teaching in the state prison education programs.  I can say unequivocally that CSEA and SEIU routinely ignored the legitimate interests of their dues paying members and instead used huge sums of the unions' dues income to maintain the union power structure so that rank-and-file interests would not prevail in internal union political issues.  Both unions also used large sums of members' dues to support political candidates and political causes that did not advance the legitimate interests of the rank-and-file.  Both unions uniformly supported liberal and ultra-liberal progressive political candidates and causes which often compromised rank-and-file interests, and I will be happy to explain those interests to anyone who requests that I do so.

I fully support legislation that requires public employee unions to cease all expenditure of membership dues for partisan or nonpartisan political candidates or issues.  At the time of my retirement from the California state civil service in 2009, my monthly union dues were $100, and had been that for quite some time.  Had SEIU been required to use membership dues strictly for the representation of union members, and not for political purposes, my dues and the dues of all other state employees in Local 1000 of SEIU would have been far less.  And our representation for legitimate employment matters would have been far better.  I have a Master of Science degree in Public Sector Labor Relations from the Institute of Industrial and Labor Relations at the University of Oregon (1976), and I did extensive post-graduate study in Local Government Labor Relations at the Institute of Industrial Relations of the University of California, Los Angeles (1976-77).  I also covered Labor Relations in the Personnel Management course I taught at the college sophomore level.  In addition, I have a record of extensive union activities for seven different unions for 37 of my 55 working years.  I also represented five different elected local government boards in their labor relations with five different public employee unions for five years.  So I believe that I am fully qualified to speak about SEIU and other public employee unions.

What is required is that elected public officials at every level of government steel themselves to the truth that their first loyalty must be to the voters who elected them to office and to the taspayers upon whom their agencies must rely for financial support, so that those officials tax and spend accordingly for a change.  They simply must stop the runaway taxing and spending which threaten to kill the goose that lays the golden egg for generations to come.  Instead of denying public employees the right to bargain collectively through their chosen unions, which will prove counterproductive as those public employees become resentful, demoralized, and less productive over being denied any voice in the workplace, elected officials must insist that the voting and taxpaying public be adequately represented in collective bargaining with their employee unions.  Nothing whatsoever in any collective bargaining law requires elected public officials to agree to union proposals that the voting and taxpaying public is not willing to pay for.  In sum, the problem is overtaxing and overspending by elected officials, and not collective bargaining rights for public employees.  In my own career representing elected local government officials, I said not only, "No," but," Hell, NO," plenty of times because all of the fiscally conservative elected officials I represented authorized me to do so.  And I can tell you, IT FELT GOOD!  Fiscally responsible policies by elected officials pays off, and that includes paying off in the negotiations with their public employees' unions.  Nor do those fiscally responsible policies require hostility towards or vilification of their public employees or the unions representing them.  Believe it or not, public employees, like everyone else, really do recognize the necessity of fiscal responsibility by government because they, too, must live on their earnings just like everyone else.  They and their unions really do respect elected officials who insist upon taxing and spending at a level that does not financially compromise the public they serve.  But they and their unions, including especially SEIU, "Obama's Brownshirts," certainly do not respect weak, fiscally irresponsible elected officials, and that includes President Obama.
