Dear Congressperson,

On March 14, 2010, Senator Lamar Alexander indicated that with Health Care "Reform", congressional democrats are on a "political kamikaze mission". (see UPI http://tinyurl.com/y9x6dd9)

We in the grassroots have rallied, cried, written, called, plead, and yes, begged, CONGRESS! PLEASE! STOP; be reasonable. Sadly, it seems you are beyond reason or, at least the means of reason we can lawfully leverage. What can we do when it appears, for all intents and purposes, that YOU have strapped on the dynamite and, stepped aboard the ship of state? What can we do?

YOU are supposed to be our check on the executive branch. That's why YOU were elected. Do you even care about that?

YOU swore an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Have you ever read it?

YOU are being called, right now, by posterity. Stop. Breathe. Listen. Can you hear it?

Time is short. We are calling on your bravery, your decency. Yes, we need reform, but this? This is not the change we need. Stand now and we will support you. Your path needn't be that of shame and regret. Stand Now.
