HELP NEEDED

Direct parking the morning of the event. Registration opens at 7:30 am. Attendants would need to be in place no later than 7 am for Early Bird arrivals

 

NURSE, EMT OR DOCTOR – 1-3 CONTACT: LARRY TEBO 503-313-3498

Would like to have one or more at the Convention for help with first aid or emergencies.

Need people designated for security. Should be onsite by 7:30 am.

REGISTRATION PACKET ASSEMBLY – NEED 6-8 CONTACT: CARLA PLETKA 503-654-0327

Assemble all materials for registrants – the week prior to the Convention - in Milwaukie

 

REGISTRATION CHECK-IN – NEED 8-10 CONTACT: CARLA PLETKA 503-654-0327

Registration begins at 7:30am. Helpers should be on board no later than 7 am.

 

SILENT AUCTION ROOM – NEED 8-10 CONTACT: DAMA CURTRIGHT 503-209-5714

Set up tables on Friday and go over procedures with volunteers. Some donors may bring items the morning of the convention. All items are given a number, entered into a spreadsheet, and a Bid Sheet must be made for each. Bidding rules and procedures will be included in the registration packet. The auction area will be closed at the announced cut-off time, bid sheets checked, collected, and alphabetized. 3 people will split the alphabet when taking payments. 5-6 people will retrieve items for the winners.

 

CONVENTION GUIDES – 8-10 CONTACT: LARRY TEBO 503-313-3498

Answer questions, guide people to rooms or needed personnel. Need to be available on Friday for orientation.

 

FRIDAY SET-UP – 6-8, PLUS COMMITTEE CONTACT: LARRY TEBO 503-313-3498

Set up tables, hang signs, sound system setup and check, arrange chairs in workshop rooms, Registration setup, someone to check people in at the lodge.
